Best drivers are?????

Everyone thinks that they are the best drive in the world, myself included.
But I have come to to conclussion that the best drives on the road on Learners. This is not because they have the ablility to deal with every situation on the road, not becasue they can drive at lightspeed, not becuase they drive like the Stig, but because they know the High way code, All be it for until they pass.

Why does this make them the best?? I hear you all cry. Simple, this morning on my drive into work I got stock behind some who was not a Learner, which you might think is a good thing, but in this case it really wasn’t.
We get a junction with has 4 enterances to it, we are the main road in que of traffice, she lets the a car out (appeantly it called being curtious), personally I wouldn’t ahve done this but ok, we both turn off to the right. About 200 meters from that turing there is a side road with a few cars at it. Again we are on the main road, what does she do??? ONLY GOES and blody slows down, put so the brakes and lets one of them out, when I use my horn to let her know shes not the only car on the road, she smiles and waves as if nothings wrong!! I mean WTF.

Ok so I dont always fully obay the Highway code but FFS at least I know when on a main f*(&ing road at the start of rush hour you don’t slow down to a near stop and let someone out onto a main road, my god how dangerous is that>>

This brings me nicely to another grip of mine, speed camras. The twats in goverement in Britian have put this useless bits of kit up on every raod to make money out of us instead of what they where ment for. WHat they really need to do is GET MORE COPS on the road looking for DANGEROUS DRIVERS.

But isn’t what speed cameras do?? NO IT’S F*(KING NOT. They any get cars that are speeding. And even then you can arguy that they are worng. The british goverement think that driving at speed is dangerous, which it can be but dangerous driving in a lot more than speeding.

GET RIDE of speed camera’s and get COPS back on the road, where common sences can be used.

Books what they for???

Ok anyone who knows me will know that I dont like reading the much, and if I can avoid it I will.  But since my last Birthday back in November I’ve take to reading a few books, well I’ve nearly finished my fourth (and for me that amazing). 

There not the sort of books I should be reading like tech manuals or the latest white pappers based around a windows network.  Its mostly be Autobiograph’s.

The first one I read was a book about the gratest rugby players in in Irish rugby, for the authors point of view.  It was an interesting read as I read up on people I have forgone played for Ireand in by-gone days.  It covers greats like Whilli Anderson and right up to Shane Horgan and Brian O’Driscals. Only down side was it raighted Ron O’Gara as a good rugby player, which in my oppion is crap as he isn’t have the play that David Humpries was, Ok O’Gara can kick a ball but if he miss his first kick that it game over the rest of the match, and his conistance is crap one game hes on top form and the next it like watching a member of an U14 time trying to figure otu what is going on.

 Next up was an autobiographery of Meatloaf.  I hear the laughter and it hurts me.  I’ve always like music and when I was younger I really like Meatloaf and thought his music was ok, after all he help to right “Bat out of hell” and that is one of the biggest Albums of all time.  It was OK I manage to read it in about 10 days (while on my hunnymoon).  It wasn’t what I expected most of it was about getting to the point of making Bat out of hell and the realise, it took you to the point pre- “Bat out of Hell 2″ but I guess it was always going to be about Bat out of hell and nothing more.  I must admit I was a bit disapointed in it as I expect it to take you from the the hight of bat 1 though being brook and back again in more detail then it did but I suppose there is only so you can say before the reader losses the will to live.

Thirdly (and in mhp the best of the 4) was Richard Hammonds book.  As most of know know Richard Hamond is Presented on BBC 2 TOP GEAR, and is dame luck to be alive after the crash about 2 years ago.  The book centre’s around this period of his life.  It gives you a quick couple of chapters history, child hood, meeting his wife, starting a family and getting the job on TOP GEAR.  Then it get to the crash and explaines every detail leading up to form the idea, thougth the maticulas planning of the stunt right up to the moment that the dragster fliped upside down.  That is all told by Richard, then for about 10 or so pages it is from the crew a the sceen and then his wife takes over the book.

When his wife take offer you get to a real felling of every emotion that the family when though and how close the TOP GEAR team and crew really are.  Its a fantastic book one that I’m really gald Lynsey bout me, it is also the only book that I’ve felt bad that I need sleep as I could have read it from start to finish with out sleep it is that good.  I cant tell you how good this book is and  I would (and do) recomend it anyone that has every seen TOP GEAR.

Finally the last bookt that I’m still reading the SLASH’s Autobiograph.  I have also like guns’n'roses and though they made good music back in the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s. I always love to hear the gutior rift love slash’s style of playing. I also always new that they did drugs, drank and lived the rock n role lifestyle, but I dont realize how f*&^ed up slash was in the earily days of Guns and what it took to get him clean again and again and again.  I’ve only got about 100 pages to read and I’m at the stage of guns winding up.  One thing that has suprized is how Slash wont (at least in the book) slag off Axel, who we all know is the reason that they fell about.
