The Speach

OK I’m never short of words, even if i dont know or understand the topic of conversation I can still talk aobut it, and beleive me I can f*&(ing talk. 

I was once told I could charm the nickers off a nun.  And beleive me as a teen and in my early 20’s I would have tried if I had a chance or a good looking nun near to try it with.

So why is it f*$%ing hard form me to write my grooms speach for the wedding??  All I have to do is write something witty, funny and thank everyone I’ve ever meet.  So god why can is it so hard to write a few words.

Your overconfidence is your weakness

Yes that’s right, Return of the Jedi was on TV on sunday and I got to watch it with out a fight from Lynsey as it was my birthday.  Well that was the plan and it sort of worked until the whole, whos he?? how did he a kid that killed him??  what the hell is going on I dont understand??? The last one was far better!  That was until I explained that they last star wars movie’s where prequils.  Then it all made sence.
That aside, I had a great day of nothingness, and I dont fell any older. 

It was great watching the last of the star wars movie, how good triumps over evil, the whole Anikan was never truley evil, etc. But the lets face it I was watching it for the lightsaber fights and wishing I was a jedi.

how cool would it be to be a jedi??  Personally I would be on the edge of the light and dark side, like my chactor in Jedi Accadimy. 

Just waving your fingures at the bar man, and saying “This is not the money you are lookign for”.

God dame my Cousins are more in the internet then I am

Bloody Hell my cousins, who have nothing to do with IT at all, are more in to the social internet than I am.  This is really really bad, as I have fought aginst this for years now I think that it might be time to get a bebo, myface or myspace account. 

Does this make me less of a geek or a bigger geek as I work my way thought life????

Bordem + resent conversation about OS = Confussion

So a few weeks ago I was on my Stag do (part 1 Uni) and I was srounden by geeks again, in my natural Envirompent.  As Bytey (the alpha geek) and Linux guro, was try to get us to confert from the evil cluchs that is Windows we all got talking about the different OS that we use at home/work.

As most of us work in courpert enviroment we were talking about Vista (much to Byteys discust) well he was going on about Ubuntu and how it was the dogs round hairy ones. I konw Bytey loves Linux and gets a boner everytime somthing new comes out for it, and as he is the biggest geek I know I was listen to what he had to say.

Now I have alway been a bit werey of Lunix mostly because it uses command line and being dyslex it cana makes things that little harder for me. Anyway as Bytey on and on about how spanking it was I start to think that maybey it was time to give Linux a try, after all if I cant us it there is always the fdisk part and format commands.  So I’ve been think sould I use Susi 10.1 which i got abvout a year ago or should I go for Ubuntu??  Also which should I install it on rebellion (my computer and like it name it’s alway rebelling agains me) or my Lappy, which is use by Lynsey as well???
